Warning signs are the first category of road signs commonly used on the roads. 

They are usually in a triangular shape with a red outline. 

These signs help warn drivers and other road users about what is ahead. The decision on what to do lies entirely up to the driver or road user but with consequences as will be discussed in the later stages of this course.
